Phil Hess
President and CEO
Phil Hess joined the APG team in April of 2024 as President and CEO. Phil previously served as the President of WellSpan Philhaven and Senior Vice President of WellSpan Health. He has 35 years of experience in serving the Central Pennsylvania healthcare community. Phil is responsible for carrying out APG priorities, including leadership formation, forums to discuss leadership issues, Anabaptist values and peer connections. Phil is a graduate of Duke University with a master’s degree in health administration from the Fuqua School of Business. Phil hobbies include reading, pickleball, fishing and most things outdoors.
